November is National Novel Writing Month, and since it’s a month all about words, we’ve got the perfect wordy challenge just for you! We’re challenging any student in grades 7-12 to write a shorty story using only SIX words. Can you do it?
Students can enter up to 3 stories for our judges to read and critique. Two winners at the high school level and two winners at the middle school level will win a gift bag filled with surprises.
The contest begins on Monday, November 7th. All entries must be submitted by Monday, November 21 at 8 PM. Stories can be emailed to Miss Heather at panellah@moonlibrary.org. Include your name, grade level, and contact information. If you need some inspiration, just Google “six-word stories” and you’ll see amazing examples.
Happy Writing!
