Welcome to Summer Reading 2025! This year, we’re going digital with the Reader Zone app.
Instructions
- Grab the packet for your age group from the library
- Download the Reader Zone app on your phone or tablet
- Create a Reader Zone account
- Enter our Summer Reading program code: 23435
- Select your age group: Bookworms (Ages 0-12), Teen Page Turners (Grades 7-12), or LitWits (Ages 18 + up)
- Each Reader can join 1-3 age groups
- Add another Reader by tapping the person icon in the top left corner, then tap the purple button labeled Add New Reader
- Under Your Activities, tap your group’s name to record how many minutes you’ve read
- The goal is 15 minutes per day
- Tap Manage Your Activities to join or record your progress for Weekly Challenges
- If applicable, grab the materials for the Weekly Challenge at the library
- June 2-7: Book Lovers Trivia
- June 9-14: Bookish Scrambled Word Challenge
- June 16-21: Bookshelf Coloring Page
- June 23-28: My Shelfie Photo Fun
- June 30-July 5: Design a Postcard
- July 7-12: Shredded Book Title Test
- July 14-19: Riddle Me This
- July 21-26: Guess the Book Contest
- Earn digital raffle tickets for every 15 minute reading goal met per day and Weekly Challenge completed
- Tickets are automatically submitted in our digital raffle
- Wait until June 29 and July 31 to find out if you won a prize
- Prizes are tote bags filled with mystery goodies
- Each age group has one winner per month
- All Bookworms will receive an invitation to get a free book at the end of the program
