The Baby Bird Project

Many teens before and especially after COVID-19 are concerned about a lack of welcoming community spaces for them to hang out and develop crucial social and life sills, and are limited to staying at home all day. The Baby Bird Project with Moon Area student Kayla Hall aims to change that by providing adolescents with a place to meet new people their age and develop social skills.

On March 16 at 12 PM, grades 5-12 learn how to crochet and knit items to donate to a local animal shelter. Participants will earn volunteer hours at the same time which can be used for school graduation requirements.
