Tech, Please: Internet Basics Tutoring

UPDATE 2/13: We are now closed on February 18 in observance of President’s Day.

Are you overwhelmed by technology to the point where you want to raise up your hand and say, “Check, please”? On February 18 at 6:30 PM, our resident digital native and Technology & Technical Services Librarian Ms. Roxanne will help you navigate popular consumer technology and emergent information issues.

This Tech, Please tutoring session will focus on the basics of using the internet, including what a web browser is, how to change its size, and how to search for information online. Don’t own a laptop? Let us know if you’d like to borrow one of ours. Own a laptop? Feel free to bring it in.

Register online or by calling 412-269-0334.

Due to limited space and resources, each tutoring session allows a maximum of 3 people. If you are placed on the wait list, feel free to check for openings during another time slot or request a 1-on-1 appointment with one of our librarians.
