Watch the moon eclipse the sun at Moon Library! Moon Township Public Library will be a viewing site for the 2024 Total Solar Eclipse. The moon will cover 97.8% of the sun for about three minutes starting at 3:19 PM. In addition to the viewing, we’ll have Moon Pies, astronaut snacks, trivia, and more!
We have 20 glasses available for registrants. Only one pair of glasses per registrant. Each person must be registered independently. Glasses will be distributed upon arrival.
Patrons on the Wait List may attend but are not guaranteed to get glasses. If you are on the Wait List, it is recommended that you bring your own glasses.
Registering for this event is the only way to get free solar eclipse glasses from Moon Library. Solar Eclipse Glasses will be available for a $2 donation starting Library Giving Day (April 3).
