Dear Moon Library Patrons & Community,
In accordance with the recent Allegheny County stay-at-home advisory and in support of the MASD decision to move to strictly virtual learning, the Moon Township Public Library has made the difficult decision to return to no-contact and curbside pickup services only.
Effective Monday, November 23 at 10:00 AM until further notice, the library will be closed to in-person browsing and computer use. We will continue to offer a range of virtual services and programming. We will re-evaluate the virus transmission rate numbers and county/state recommendations on an ongoing basis and will reopen as soon as safely possible.
We understand that this may cause frustration for many, but we feel as a community organization it is our responsibility to mitigate the spread of COVID-19 when possible and to keep Moon Township safe and healthy.
We truly appreciate the continued support and patience of everyone and we promise to remain dedicated to all of you even at a distance.
Stay well,
Moon Library Staff
P.S. You can schedule your items for no-contact pickup online, by email, or by calling us at 412-269-0334. We currently still plan to hold our Drive-Thru Cookie Carnival and Family Photo Fundraiser as scheduled and with safety precautions.
