Blue Moon Fortune-telling Fundraiser

A blue moon is also called a “fairy moon”, capable of thinning the veil of the Otherworld, enhancing magical abilities and prophesying. To celebrate the upcoming blue moon on Halloween, Moon Library (see what we did there?) is holding online tarot card readings as an October fundraiser.

Need to know more? Here is a mini Q&A.

Q. I’ve never had a tarot reading before. What should I expect?

A. I will pick cards out of a deck and place them on a table. I interpret the significance of the cards based on their location and the art’s symbolism. I think of it as giving advice with props.

Q. I have a friend/family member/significant other who wants to join me. Is that okay?

A. Yes, you can bring anybody you like to it, but you will be restricted by time. If more than one person wants a reading, it is best to purchase multiple slots so nobody is shortchanged.

Q. Can I ask you about ______?

A. Ask me or tell me anything you feel you need to. The reading is confidential and I will not pressure you for your personal information. However, readings are provided for entertainment and self-enrichment purposes and are not substitutes for professional medical or legal advice.

Q. I’m scared to get a reading. Are ghosts or demons involved?

A. No, and I will do what I can to make you feel comfortable. My aim isn’t to emotionally manipulate you, it is to offer perspective with some Halloween flavor.
