Welcome to the first Moon Makerspace! Students in grades 7-12 and adults 18 and older can experiment with our creative and technological materials on January 25 between 11 AM and 4 PM.
Our regular makerspace stations are:
- Button maker
- Cricut machine & laptop
- Fine arts with acrylic paints, chalk pastels, markers, pens, colored pencils, and crayons
- Papercrafting with scrapbooking scissors, tape, glue, and tissue paper
- Photo printer with USB drive and full-size SD card/microSD adapter compatibility
- Dremels with interchangeable tips for grinding and cutting
- Woodburning stylus with interchangeable tips for embossing and stamping
- Soldering kit with multimeter, tweezers, solder dispenser, and wire cutter
- Coworking space
Our featured makerspace station is:
- 3D printing pens with 1.75 mm PLA filaments
This program is for students in grades 7-12 and adults 18 and older. Students in grades 7-8 must attend with a caregiver.
Please fill out the SignUp Genius form so we can prevent long waits for stations. You will be required to sign a waiver upon entry and follow the Moon Makerspace rules.
