Learn some STEAM* skills with this makerspace workshop for adults. Join us on January 22 at 6:30 PM and get introduced to e-textiles and soft circuits by making light-up beanie hats with conductive thread and LEDs to provide that extra bit of warmth and light in the middle of winter.
This project will require you to bring your own beanie hat. If you do not have your own beanie, you may also bring large fabric headbands or scarves.
Please reserve your spot by calling 412-269-0334 or by applying online.
*STEAM is a variant on the acronym STEM. STEM stands for Science, Technology, Engineering and Math. STEAM includes Art because creativity is an important part of innovation.
Note: This program is intended for adults but teens and pre-teens with parental supervision may attend. Please email Roxanne if you have any questions.
