Sponsored by the Allegheny County Library Association (ACLA) and the Highmark PALS (People Able to Lend Support) Program, this book club is designed to bring senior adults together. Membership is free and participants pick up a copy of the current selection at the library each month.

Membership requirements Open to people 65 and older who are eligible for Medicare
Regular meeting day Third Thursday of every month

Activity Groups

Knitting projectKnitting Club

Join us every Wednesday at 1:00 p.m. as we gather in the Sky Room to work on our latest knitting projects. Knitters of all levels are welcome. If you are a novice knitter and would like some help, there are several knitters in the club able to offer assistance.


Moon Genealogy Club

Join us on the second Thursday of each month at 6:30 p.m. to talk with other amateur genealogists. This is a great opportunity for both new and experienced genealogists. Come and bring a friend or two! For more information, please contact the group at heathersfamilysearch@gmail.com.
